March 16, 2023 – Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – NuoBello, a leading global development company, has announced plans to create a mega lifestyle destination on a 389-hectare site located 20 kilometers from Port Moresby’s central business district. This ambitious project is set to transform the area and become a major attraction in Papua New Guinea.
The first stage of the mixed-use development will include a golf course, a diverse selection of residential housing, a crystal lagoon, and water and entertainment park, an international school, and a community mall. This stage is expected to be completed in 2026, aligning with the economic boom anticipated in Papua New Guinea due to the Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) mega projects by TotalEnergies and Exxon Mobil, scheduled to begin in 2024.
The project was approved during a recent meeting between Michael Ayling, CEO of NuoBello, and the Directors of the Development Company on March 16, 2023. Master planning is currently underway, with stage one being fast-tracked to capitalize on the upcoming economic growth in the region.
