WHAT IS THAILAND ELITE VISA?

Elite Flexible Plus
The Elite Flexible Plus is for current members who are interested in investment and special privileges to work in Thailand. Membership depends on the current Thailand Elite membership. Available for Elite Ultimate Privilege, Elite Privilege Access, and Elite Superiority Extension members only. Requires $1 Million USD in 3 different kinds of investment. These investments are real estate, a public company limited or company, and stock exchange of Thailand. Special privileges to work in Thailand.

Non-Immigrant B
A Non-immigrant B visa will allow you to invest or work in Thailand. Once approved, you will be eligible for a work permit to explore investment opportunities and open a Thai bank account. The visa can include unlimited entries, but you must leave Thailand every 90 days if you do not apply for an extension at the Immigration Bureau in Thailand. The Visa is valid for a full year.

To apply for this visa, you will need your passport, sponsorship documents, and a completed visa application. The Thai embassy or consulate will review your application, and if approved, you will receive your visa.

Long Term Resident Visas

The Thai Government is promoting Long Term Residency Visas (through the Board of Investment) to enhance Thailand’s attractiveness as a regional hub for living and doing business for high-potential foreigners.

Nuobello Services can manage the application process from start to finish.  Our fee for managing this process if THB 30,000 and can be paid 50% on commencement of application and 50% on successful approval of visa.  If the application is unsuccessful for any reason, the final payment is not required.

Categories:

1. Wealthy Individuals

1. Must hold at least USD 1 million in net assets at the time of application (net assets exclude any assets without proof of ownership and assets without reliable market appraisal evidence (e.g. artwork, cryptos, amulets or memberships)
   PLUS
2. Have a personal income of a minimum of USD 80k p.a. for last 2 years before applying for the visa.
   PLUS
3. Must directly invest in Thailand as an individual investor no less than USD 500k in:
   
   1. Thai Government bonds issued by Thai Ministry of Finance with over 5 years remaining maturity at time of application;
   2. Investment in a limited company or public company registered under Thai Law and Investment in a venture capital company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Thailand (excludes direct investment in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET);
   3. Investment in real estate (condominiums).
4. Must hold health insurance with at least USD 50k coverage (with a remaining maturity of 10 months or more) OR valid social security benefits which insures the applicant for hospitalisation and treatment in Thailand OR deposit of more than USD 100k in a bank account which has been held for at least 12 months at the time of application.

2. Wealthy Pensioner

1. Must be greater than 50 years old
2. Must have a personal Pension income of a minimum of USD 80k p.a. at time of application
   OR
3. if less than USD 80k, it must be greater than USD 40k and the applicant then must invest at least USD 250k in Thai Government bonds, foreign direct investment or into a Thai Property as per 1.c above.
4. Must hold health insurance with at least USD 50k coverage (as per 1.d)
5. The Wealthy Pension is able to work

3. Work from Thailand Professional

1. Applicant must show personal income of greater than USD 80k p.a.
2. If personal income is between USD 40k and USD 80 per year over the last 2 years, the applicant must have a master’s degree or above or own IP or receive Series A Funding.
3. Applicant must have one of the following:
   
   1. work for a public company on a stock exchange, OR
   2. a Private Company in operation for at least 3 years with combined revenue of USD150m in the last 3 years.
4. Applicant must have at least 5 years’ experience in the relevant field of employment over the last 10 years.
5. Must hold health insurance with at least USD 50k coverage (see 1.d)

4. Highly Skilled Professional

1. Applicant must have a personal income of at least USD 80k/year over the last 2 years
2. If personal income is between USD 40k and USD 80k in the past 2 years, applicants must have a master’s degree or above in science and technology or special expertise relevant to the job assignment in Thailand. Note:  no minimum personal income for professionals working or Thai Government Agencies or state-owned higher education institutions or state-owned specialised training institutions in Thailand!!!
3. Must be working in
   
   1. a business in any targeted industry (see below)
      OR
   2. Higher education institution, research institution, specialised training institution, or Thai government agency.
4. Applicant must have at least 5 years of work experience in the targeted industries (except for applicants with a Ph.D. or above in the relevant fields of the targeted industries or applicants working for Thai Government Agencies.
5. Must hold health insurance with at least USD 50k coverage (see 1.d)

Non-Immigrant O
Family & Retirement

Do you want to join a family member or get married in Thailand?

Non-Immigrant O (Marriage)

A Non-immigrant O
marriage visa will allow you to stay in Thailand for 90 days, giving you plenty of time to spend with your significant other’s family and get married.

The requirements are different for foreign men and women. If you are a foreign man about to marry a Thai woman, you will need a Thai bank account with at least 400,000 THB or even at least 40,000 THB income per month.

However, you do not need to meet these requirements if you are a foreign woman who will marry a Thai man. Instead, your soon-to-be spouse must prove he has paid his personal income tax.

You can apply for this visa before you arrive in Thailand, or you can obtain a 60-day tourist visa, enter Thailand, and convert your visa. If you go this route, you must meet the financial requirements while your tourist visa is intact to convert it. You must have money in your Thai bank account for at least two months before the country will allow you to convert your visa.

Non-Immigrant O (Retirement)

People who are 50 years old or above and fulfil the required criteria can be eligible for a 1-year extension based on retirement.

Non-Immigrant ED
For those studying or joining a student in Thailand

Do you want to study or join a loved one studying in Thailand?

Non-Immigrant ED

A Non-immigrant ED visa will allow you to study in Thailand. If you want to obtain your education in Thailand, you will need a Non-immigrant ED (Education) visa.

Before getting a visa, you must get accepted at a school in Thailand and receive an admission or acceptance letter. Then, you will be ready to apply.

These are two options for applying for an education visa.

1. If you are already in Thailand on another visa, you can visit the immigration department in Thailand and apply to have your visa converted by filling in the TM86 form. The cost for conversion is below.

2. If you are not yet in Thailand, you can apply from home at the Royal Thai Consulate by completing the TM87 application. The amount you pay depends on the Royal Thai Consulate you visit.

Regardless of how you apply, your visa will be valid for 90 days. You can apply for an extension at the end of the 90 days to finish your schooling.

Non-Immigrant Guardian Visa
A Non-immigrant Guardian visa will allow you to extend your stay in Thailand if you have a child attending a Thai school.

Foreigners with a child attending a Thai school and possessing an ED extension can apply for a guardian extension. Only one of the parents can apply for the guardian extension.

Work Permit Assistance
Smooth process obtaining your work permit

Work Permit Application

To be able to work for a company in Thailand, you need a work permit. However, first, you must obtain a non-immigrant visa and enter Thailand before receiving your work permit. You have the option of extending the work permit once it expires.

The company you work for must have 2 million THB in registered capital, at least 4 Thai employees that are registered with the social security fund and VAT registration. Nuobello Services can work with your company to ensure all paperwork is provided. You will be provided with a work permit which is valid for 2 years.

90 Day Reporting
If you are a foreigner and live in Thailand, you must notify us of your address and current status to the Immigration Office every 90 days, In order to keep your visa active. This is not needed if you leave the country within the 90-day period and come back (in that case, the 90-day period starts again from zero).

90-day reporting can be completed up to 14 days before the required 90-day date or up to 7 days after.
